Airbrushing Tyranids

Granted this video was shot a few years ago when Melvin first got his airbrush, I hope this will give you aspiring painters out there a feel of what it is like to airbrush a small miniature.

This post was done especially for Marshall who does not think that airbrushing is for Tyranids. I still think it is a great addition to your toolbox especially the speed in which you can lay down the paint.

You will still need a paintbrush to get the washes into the skins and crevasse of the model but the airbrush makes work shorter. I plan to use the 0.3 needle and low PSI to do my carapace as well. The highlights will of course come from my paintbrush.
